Ugh, I am so weak!

I wasn't sure if I wanted to post about this and wasn't going to but since accountability is what I need, here goes. I bought a pack of cigarettes tonight! Okay, so Monday is the date of the quit and it isn't like it's a huge deal but it IS a huge deal! I spent $2 I shouldn't have on another pack of smokes! Ugh, okay, I will not beat myself up too much over this but I'll have them all gone by tomorrow night and that's it. Period. Finis.

Give me strength!

Try not to chain smoke them! Good luck, and I'd try sugarless gum to compensate a little bit.

I quit cold turkey years ago. It was really easy because I was ready! I just woke up one day and said I'm not going to smoke any more! I chewed the nicotine gum for about 3 days and then I was done. I smell better and I have saved tons of money! Hope this success story can inspire you!!! It can be done, you are tough and you can do this. Just wake up the morning of quit day and say to yourself, " I am a NON smoker and I HATE those stupid stinky controlling cigarettes." You really have to have disdain toward them. Good luck and keep us posted on your SUCCESS!!

Boomeyers, that's what my mother did when she quit. But the reality is I am not that "ready". I know I need to quit and I want to quit for many reasons but I do enjoy smoking. However, for my health I really must quit so I will. Thanks for the encouragement, yall.
