Booooring dinner - but cheap!

January 25th, 2007 at 06:50 pm

Well, we ended up having a very boring but very cheap dinner. When we got home from running errands DH had two pieces of bread with two turkey franks and some dill pickle relish. I had the last of the taco soup from last night and it was very good with a few fritos in it.

DH then left to go pick guitar with some people and I've been lying around doing nothing but watching movies and being a bum.

Oh yes, I did record today's spending in my log and updated the January records. Hey, I might be getting the hang of this!

I did pretty much the same, today. I watched a good movie, "The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio". Really liked it.
Hopefully, tomorrow, I will be more productive!

Nance, I haven't heard of that. I'll have to see if Netflix has it and if so, put it on my list.

Tell me how Netflix is for you. The people I know who use it love it.

Nance, I just read the Netflix synopsis and it sounds like a good one! I have it on the list now. Thanks!

Oh, we love Netflix! We've been members for about three years now and it's saved us a lot of money. We were the kinds who paid late fees because we forgot to take movies back. Since that isn't an issue with Netflix, it's great! We have the 3 at a time plan and it works very well for us. And we get movies the day after they're sent usually, but sometimes two days after they're sent. All in all, it's money well spent to us!

I read the book. Didn't know there was a movie....maybe I'll have one of those nights on this rainy forecasted saturday. The logging of expenses gets addicting.....

Oh, I read that book! Highly recommend it...I'm going to see if the movie is available on DVD.

I read the book too. Loved it. The movie is on DVD, and was as good as the book, which is amazing.

I enjoyed the book too. I'll have to look for the movie at the video store. I could really use a relaxing in front of a video sort of evening - soon!
