Cash on hand

October 4th, 2007 at 04:55 am

Right now I have $17.48 on hand and $15 of that is spoken for. Wooohoooo! I won't get too far on $2.48!

But my bills are paid for this month, other than electricity and storage, neither of which is due yet, I have enough food to last a couple of weeks, and I have a full tank of gas in my car. I also have a house to clean tomorrow and will get $60 for that but it all goes into the bill envelope.

Oh well, I'm set for at least another week and a half to two weeks so all is well. It's just kind of sad to only have $2.48 in my pocket...maybe I need to run a coin rescue like baselle does!

Honestly, I run around with $0 in my pocket. I can't be trusted with cash Frown I tend to do the oh, its only $1 or $2 thing which means I can burn through $20 in a few days...

If I want to spend money, I have to use my debit card (believe it or not, this is a very good thing for me).

At least you have met all the bills! Smile

I don't have a debit card anymore so I do need to have some cash on hand but not much. $2 is enough or will have to be. lol And yep, I'm not too worried since the bills are paid! That's a relief, anyway. Smile

After reading another blog, here, I wondered if there was a market to create a job, releiving caretakers of the elderly for a few hours at a time, shopping for elderly who can't get out, doing light housekeeping for them, etc. I think it would be a great business to start, and it might fill a real need.
