45, married with no kids at home and meeting the challenge of paying bills and saving. I work retail and my husband owns a new eyeglass repair shop. We have no current debt but do have old debt to handle. One thing at a time, one day at a time!

1 old debt paid - $47.42

Wooohoo, one old debt gone!

So, it was a little under $50. Not a big debt and not a really old one but it was the smallest in our list of debts to be paid and now it's paid. Wooohooo! One down and ___ to go! Wink Just paying off that one gives me a little more incentive to tackle the others.

I think it's wonderful. Plenty of people could look at the same thing and say, "It's only a little under $50. I'll pay it off later." But not you!

Congratulations! It's one less responsibility to think about every month. It's getting to cross one of those debts off that starts making sense of what you're doing.

It feels great, doesn't it?! My kids were so excited when we paid off another debt last month. It's very inspiring.
