A quick picture of me and my mother & ouch, I need a dentist!

April 5th, 2015 at 04:33 pm

I spent the day with my mother. We had a lovely traditional for us holiday dinner and I brought home some leftovers. Those will be nice this week.

I wanted to go to the nursing home to see Pop this evening but I woke up with some serious mouth pain and just don't feel up to it. I think I'm going to have to find a dentist who can see me ASAP. In the meantime, I'm taking 1/2 a hydrocodone every few hours when the pain gets to be too much.

Ugh, I don't have time for dental issues and perhaps time off work! Oh well, I'll do what I must.

Anyway, here's a selfie I took today of me and my mother.

I hope you all had a lovely day!

Oh, what a nice selfie! Dental pain is the worst. I know you don't want to deal with it right now, but it's best to find the reason.

Nice to see the person behind the writer! Good luck with the dentist, hoping you're out of pain soon. I cracked my filling last week & have an appointment to go to the dentist in a couple of weeks (it's not painful, just needs to be attended to). Haven't been in 3yrs so have no idea what's in store. I sympathise with you! Good luck Smile

You look much younger than 52! Good luck with your tooth.

Thanks, y'all! Petunia, I get told that fairly often by customers. It always makes my day. ;-) My mother is almost 80 and most people don't believe she's that age, either. I guess it's in our genes and I'm okay with that.

At 1 AM, in agony, I hopped online and found a local dentist who practices sedation dentistry. I left VM and hope someone from that office calls me soon to tell me to come in. The pain is just about unbearable now. Frown
