Meals for hard times

January 6th, 2007 at 08:53 pm

I know I am not the only person in a serious money crunch. In my stack of printed recipes and frugal meals I have a wonderful article written by Dee Ann Guzman.

Meals for hard times explains how to feed your family on $30 or even $20. I've used her plan a few times and it's really gotten us through some rough spots. Maybe it will help someone here, too.

Thanks for the heads-up on that website.
How did the "leftover" soup turn out last night? I have leftover stew, and that just might turn into soup in the next day or two!

Oh, the refrigerator soup was very good! My man person had just one bowl of it as he isn't big on what he calls "vegetable soup". Never mind it had chicken and a bit of beef in it. lol But the boys gobbled it! There's still some left and I'll probably freeze it.
