2 days, 14 hours, 15 minutes, & 20 seconds

Wooohooo! That's how long its been since I've smoked! DH has cheated a little but all in all he's doing beautifully.

We've not smoked 155 cigarettes and we've saved.. drum roll, please.....

$30.07!

    how often were you smoking? 155 cigarrettes in 2 days 14hrs is a hell of a lot.

    How often? Well, every chance possible! Actually, I never timed it so I don't know how often. I generally smoked a pack a day, sometimes a little more, and DH smoked 2 to 3 packs a day.

    That is great. How much is a pack of cigarettes now? I started when they were 20 cents a pack and quit when they were about 75 cents a pack.

    It depends on the brand but the cheap ones (like we smoked) here are about $3.89 a pack. Name brands like Marlboro are around $5 or $6. No wonder we never had money!

    Wow, that's awesome! It really is, considering that I've heard that they're as addictive as Heroine. The cost saving is great, but it's nothing compared to simply triumphing over something like that.

    BA, I haven't tried heroin so I don't know how addictive it is but I've smoked most days since I was 14. Exceptions were when I was pregnant or nursing a baby and the almost year we quit smoking from 2004 to 2005. So far so good! Smile
